I had a few different interactions with people this week that made me think about spirituality and how it is perceived. It seems there are a few perspectives. One is that it is something to engage with at certain times when needed but kept separate from work and certain family members. Another is that there is organized religion and the wacky "woo-woo" stuff; one being rigid and the other being crazy, or just "normal" people. I find these two a lot in society and in individuals I meet. Here is my perspective. I believe in common sense spirituality. I find what works for me and I use it in everything I do. People are often surprised when they hear I'm a "Fairy person" at what they get when they sit down with me. I offer what I see and don't try to be grandiose about it. I look at where they are at, what they need to face to move forward or how to move through or around the block in front of them. Sometimes people just need confirmation on what they already know. What most people don't realize is that in their day to day they are making themselves crazy? They are so busy denying the obvious, or trying to pretend they are okay when they don't feel okay, or are running away from something, that they stopped using common sense. If they would just sit down and be honest with themselves then they would feel better, centered, and grounded. So what often happens is I meet them? They have a preconceived idea that I am trying to scam them, or are at least guarded against this, and then something ironic happens. The "fraud" hands them their truth. I have people ask me how I could know so much about them. My answer is simple, I'm open. If your child or friend or loved one was having a hard time, you would know. They wouldn't have to say anything. We as a society have become shut down except to those we trust. If you opened more you would feel it. I also have worked my butt off to get here. Yes I was gifted with parents who didn't make me shut down on my natural talents, but I have had plenty of other issues to work through. This is what I do everyday. I started working with my spiritual path and my issues when I was 13! (That's 18 years ago for those who wish to know.) I work with my guides and my healing talents everyday for the last 8-9 years. Here is the biggest part. I don't have to meditate in silence for hours or have a separate time and space for it. It is in everything I do. I use it when I'm with my kids, doing laundry, cooking, washing dishes, or grocery shopping. Sometimes I do special things that require me to set time aside. I have mini rituals I do daily (ie draw an oracle card for the day) that I may need a moment of peace for, but that's it. When the magical and spiritual become part of your day to day, your life shifts in amazing ways. Where are you still separating your spirituality from your life?

Imagine a world where money was no longer the means of exchange of services but rather love and enthusiasm as its primary exchange. A world full of love and so much diversity that each individual’s enthusiasm became the driving force behind one’s life work and one’s life work was as distinctive as one’s own fingerprint. A world where every job and every service had its own caretaker that performed its tasks with so much love and care they freely wanted to giveaway these services. Tell me? What would this world look like? A world of harmony and service where all needs were met and provided by someone that was just as equally grateful to give as well as they were ready to receive. A world of haves without the not’s. A world of abundance without the lack. A world of love without the suffering. Can you imagine this?
